BaleHaus@Bath is a modern architecture project of a unique, two story building on the campus of the University of Bath. The house is based on ModCell – prefabricated cladding panels constructed from straw bale and hemp, which offer excellent thermal insulation qualities.
This super-insulated, high-performance, low energy prefab has the thermal performance of up to three times higher than the current building regulations require. At the end of the project the building will be dismantled and relocated to another site.
