This prefabricated cabin is a cube-shaped structure constructed from bales of straw. It includes a small interior space with two floors and an attic, and a hovering terrace with a “lookout” overlooking the Swiss Alps.

Straw bales were manually tied together with plastic strips, transported to the site for final assembly and were left to settle in place. This vacation home was built in six months.
