Although this prefab home is quite gigantic, energy consumption has been dealt with. The greatest challenge was to achieve minimum energy consumption despite generous glazed areas. By using highly efficient thermal insulation with the wooden structural components, the architects managed to reduce any weak points in the thermal outer shell to an absolute minimum.
