MIMA House

Published in Prefab Cabins |

Don’t be deceived, this modern prefab home is a lot more than what meets the eye. This single level Portuguese flat by Mima Architects was designed to make life easy breezy. It’s light and airy atmosphere radiates a calm and relaxing vibe as you look out on the spectacular views presented by walls of crystal clear windows.

Milky white fixtures teamed with honey stained hardwood gives this contemporary glasshouse a fresh, clean, and open feeling. Bathed in white, this prefab’s cloud-like exterior offers a striking contrast to its backwoods backdrop. The simple yet elegant design resembles something more like a sculpture versus a traditional homestead, and with its versatile interior, you can transform your MIMA residence into your own personal work of art.

The MIMA flexible home features a grid and track system that allows you to add, remove, or rearrange the internal “walls” to your heart’s desire, thus banishing the constrictions of loadbearing walls. Each panel has the option of different finishes allowing for an extreme home makeover minus the major renovation. In a society where so many options are readily available, this home is your all-in-one choice package.

  1. Itay says:

    Why ther IS no price??????

  2. Armas Rammo says:

What is the size and cost of such a MIMA home, and what are the restrictions in regard to weather conditions of the environment of such a house’s location? The grid and track system sounds unbelievably aesthetic and utilitarian.

Any thoughts?
